This year’s H&N Hatchery Academy took place in the mid-October. The technical service team prepared an interesting and varied program which started in Cuxhaven and ended in the Netherlands.
The H&N HATCHERY ACADEMY started with a welcome dinner on Sunday evening. The attendants had the chance get to know each other before the seminars starts on Monday morning with the seminar program. Once again our technical service team prepared an interesting and varied program with topics about hatchery-relevant issues. It ranged from ‘Embryonic viability restoration during eggs storage’ via ‘Ventilation in Hatchery’ to ‘Control for helps hatchability’. Also practical experience on ‘Necropsy importance and discovery tools’ could be gained. Our intention of the H&N HATCHERY ACADEMY is to exchange ideas and to share experiences.
In addition to the training sessions, we also made sure that fun and leisure does not fall too far behind. A bowling competition and a karaoke session were organized in the evenings.
An excursion to the Netherlands to visit the AGROMIX Hatchery in Afferden made up the second part of the H&N HATCHERY ACADEMY.
We are very pleased that this year’s HATCHERY ACADEMY was once again a successful event!
