Morocco 09th – 13th April 2018
H&N on the road to success! This was the motto of our 1st H&N Distributor Conference in Marrakesh, Morocco. It was the first time that a H&N symposium took place in this form i. e. a technical conference for our customers/ distributors worldwide which was supposed to be a mixture of lectures, workshops and as a must in such a beautiful country like Morocco, a colorful leisure and cultural program. 100 participants from 25 nations accepted our invitation and made this event to such a great success. On Monday evening our CEO Javier Ramírez and the H&N team welcomed our guests to a reception dinner, starting with a traditional tea ceremony. The guests could enjoy many sorts of Moroccan food and had the opportunity to get to know each other before the meeting.
The next day, the conference started with lectures held by our colleagues Dr. Cavero, Dr. Carrasquer, Dr. Arbe, Mr. Chairi and Mr. Mozafar. Subjects were the 5 pilars of H&N genetics, nutrition and health concepts as well as steps into the digitalization. In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to explore the red city of Marrakesh and then to end the day with a typical Moroccan dinner followed by a live show.
On Wednesday, we went to the Atlantic coast, to the beautiful city of Essaouira, to get to know this side of this interesting country, too. Then on Thursday, we could start motivated with the second part of the technical conference, i. e. our workshops. The workshops were led by our technical service team and included the fundamental questions: « How to increase H&N breed sales? » and. The results of each group were summarized for all « How to optimize production costs? » participants as successful conclusion of the conference. The gala dinner on Thursday evening was the duly festive end to this successful event.
Once again we would like to thank all participants who followed our invitation to Morocco and hope that they enjoyed the event as much as the entire H&N team did. This symposium showed that we, H&N together with its customers, are together “on the road to success!” at present and in the future. With that in mind, we look forward to seeing you at the next H & N Distributor Conference!
